The homeworld of a Space Marine Chapter.

Most astartes homeworlds are Feral Worlds, allowing the training of prospective battle brothers from an ealy age. A Space Marine Chapter controls all rights to their homeworlds and no Tithe is ever taken. Not all Space Marine Chapters have a specific homeworld; some chapters such as the Black Tempelars take their asspirants from several differant homeworlds while others may be ship-based chapters, moving from planet to planet and recruiting on the way. A Space Marine Chapter can lose all rights to its homeworld if it is deemed corrupt by the Imperium such as the Mantis Legion and Executioners due to their participation in the Badab War although they were since granted the Emperor's forgiveness.

One well known non-feral astartes home world is Macragge, homeworld of the Ultramarines.
