Blood Song was a special Combi-Meltagun carried by Captain Erasmus Tycho of the Blood Angels' 3rd Company. In addition to the melta weapon's properties, the bolt portion of it was able to equip the specialised ammunition normally issued to Sternguard Veteran Squads: Dragonfire Bolts, Vengeance Rounds, Kraken Bolts, or Hellfire Rounds.^[1]

Previous Editions

• Captain Tycho's combi-melta was always part of his wargear,^[2][3][4] but was not given a name until the 5th Edition.^[1]
