Cadia

Cadia is an Imperial fortress world that guards the entrance to the Eye of Terror. It is home to the famous Cadian regiments of the Imperial Guard and the mysterious Cadian Pylons.

Significance

Cadia rests at the only stable path out of the Eye of Terror. This means that any significant Chaos force will have to pass through the Cadian system making it a crucial choke point. Because of it's position and strategic value, Cadia is one of the most heavily fortified systems in the Imperium. The majority of the Cadian population is either under arms or working in war industry that supplies Imperial forces all accross the Segmentum.
