Clan Morlaag
Clan Morlaag, known as the "Fist of Manus", is one of the ten active Clan Company's of the Iron Hands. It is currently recognized as the 7th Company.[3]
Overview
Morlaag follows the key principle of Ferrus Manus regarding the single perfect blow which brings victory over a hundred imperfect strikes. To this end, Morlaag acts as shock troops and liberators and fields a large amount of Close Support Squads. They begin a battle with fast-moving auspex reconnaissance vehicles, engaging only to test strength and resolve of their foe. Each clash gathers information, until an overwhelming assault led by Land Raiders, Assault Squads, Bikers, and Inceptors smash the enemy to pieces.[3]
After a victory, the Morlaag are known to take battlefield trophies such as enemy banners. They store these artifacts in stasis pods carefully concealed from Mars lest they stake a claim. While Morlaag claims these trophies are for study, in truth they are symbols of pride for the Clan. While the Iron Council is aware of this behavior, they have turned a blind eye to it as long as Morlaag's prowess endures.[3]
