D'yanoi is a sept world that was once isolated from the Tau Empire for many years. Tau on this world regressed to a more basic level of technology. Inhabitants of this Sept are regarded as rustic and backwards. D'yanoi means "twin moons." D'yanoi is cast in perpetual half-light by the complex interaction of its moons with its tide-locked orbit.
