The Dark Olympiad is an event among the Dark Eldar's Wych Cults, that requires a three-year build up consisting of a grueling program of gladiatorial contests; that elevates the greatest of Wyches to glory whilst leaving their lesser sisters dead. At the finale of the Dark Olympiad's games, a realspace portal is opened in the arena and Wych Cult and audience alike are invited to pour out into the realm of mortals to bathe in an orgy of killing. The winner of the event, is the Wych who claims the most kills and returns to Commorragh alive, where she is declared Queen of the Olympiad and is immediately promoted to the ranks of the Succubi - the ruling elite of the Wych Cults.[1]
