Eleon Iasus was the Chapter Master of the Ultramarines' 22nd "Nemesis" Chapter during the Great Crusade.[1b]
Biography
Eleon Iasus was born on Macragge and originally served in the 16th Chapter under Banzor Evido. As Captain of the 166th Company, he made a point of fighting alongside every squad under his command. Marius Gage considered him a fine warrior and an excellent captain.[1a]
Shortly before the Battle of Thoas, Iasus was appointed the new Chapter Master of the 22nd "Nemesis" Chapter by Lord Guilliman, bypassing the senior Captain Hierax who would have succeeded Machon Phalaris according to the traditions of the 22nd.
