ca. 750.M30	The Primarch Project	The Emperor of Mankind combines advanced Martian genetic engineering with the warpcraft he learned from the Chaos Gods to create the Primarchs and the gene-seed prototypes. The Chaos Gods steal the gestating primarchs from the Emperor's laboratory deep beneath Terra and scatter them across the galaxy.	"Over two hundred years" before Davin.	^[2]^[3]
ca. 780.M30		The Emperor's geneticists refine the creation of the gene-seed that will allow him to create the Space Marine Legions.		^[2]
ca. 780.M30	The First Founding	The Emperor uses DNA samples from the Primarchs to create twenty Space Marine Legions. Grabya's Theorem demonstrates how Primarch genetic data could be used to stabilize genetic development of Space Marines. Sorian's Inductus Excelsus shows requirements for more warriors is vast. Accelerated gene-culturing techniques implemented, reducing processing time to create Space Marine to one year. However, accelerated gene-seed has unseen fundamental flaws. 798.M30	The Great Crusade	Warp-dilated horologs state that the Great Crusade begins around this time.		^[5]
ca. 829.M30	The Proxima Betrayal	An insurrectionist cell attacks the compliance ceremony on Proxima. The Legio Custodes and Astartes of the XVI Cohort of the III Legion defend the Emperor of Mankind, giving their lives so he can get to safety. In recognition of their sacrifice, the Emperor grants the III Legion the right to bear the Palatine Aquila in their heraldry and the right to invoke Exterminatus on Proxima.		^[1]
ca. 830.M30		The III Legion's gene-seed reserves fail to arrive at the vaults on Luna and an artificial pathogen obliterates several gene-seed vaults on Terra, sealing the fate of the Legion.	In the "fourth decade of the Crusade," the "early decades of the III Legion's existence," and "Coming within a solar year" of Proxima.	^[1]
???.M30	Rediscovery of Fulgrim	The Emperor comes to Chemos and recruits Fulgrim to lead the III Legion, the 5th Primarch to be found. After Fulgrim addresses the two hundred surviving Astartes, the Emperor accepts the name he had given them, the Emperor's Children.	Fifty years after his arrival on Chemos.	^[1]

869.M30	Compliance of Molech	In the presence of the Emperor, Horus, Fulgrim, Lion El'Jonson, and Jaghatai Khan, the Knight World Molech is brought to Compliance. Cyprian Devine of House Devine is named Planetary Governor. The Emperor garrisons Molech with almost a hundred Imperial Army regiments, three Adeptus Titanicus cohorts, and detachments from two legions to protect a secret that he suppresses in the memories of his sons.		^[9]^[10]
???.M30		Fulgrim and the Emperor's Children set out on their own with the 28th Expedition Fleet for the Byzas Campaign, where attempt to conquer the world with just seven men.	Some time before 970.M30, when the Luna Wolves are without the Emperor's Children.	^[11]
984.M30		Rogal Dorn objects to Konrad Curze and the Night Lords' brutal pacification of Cheraut. Curze nearly kills Dorn and is taken into custody, which he soon escapes, slaughtering the Imperial Fists and Emperor's Children guarding him. 000.M31	The Ullanor Triumph	The Ullanor Crusade comes to an end. The Emperor of Mankind and His armies destroy Ork warboss Urlakk Urg and the largest Ork empire in the galaxy. Fulgrim and the Emperor's Children attend the triumph celebrating the victory, where the Emperor names Horus His Warmaster, renames the Luna Wolves the Sons of Horus, and retires to Terra.	^[15b]
000.M31	The Cleansing of Laeran		First EC action after Ullanor; lasts about a month.	^[6a]
001.M31	The Council of Nikaea	Fulgrim attends the Council convened to determine the fate of Space Marine Librarians. The Emperor concludes that all Librarians must return to their Battle Companies and cease using their psychic powers. Magnus the Red is ordered to cease his study of sorcery.	20 months after Ullanor; before Murder.	^[12]^[13]^[14]
001.M31	The Battle of Murder	The Luna Wolves reinforce the Blood Angels and Emperor's Children on Murder. Upon the arrival of Sanguinius, the combined Imperial forces spend six months exterminating the megarachnids.	Whisperheads +12 weeks (HR P2C3); before/during Carollis.	^[15a]
001.M31	The Battle of the Carollis Star	The Emperor's Children and Iron Hands destroy the Diasporex.	During/after 140-20.	^[6c]
