Gideous Krall
Gideous Krall, known as the Infector of Worlds, is a Death Guard Chaos Lord, who commands the Empyrion's Blight Warband.[1a]
History
He was originally a Captain in the Death Guard Legion, during the Horus Heresy and had command of the warship, Ceaseless Advance. Krall was among the Death Guard who were corrupted by the Destroyer Plague, after they entered the Warp to take part in the Heresy's Siege of Terra. It was a part of a trap unleashed by First Captain Typhon[2a] and when the Death Guard's fleet later emerged into the Sol System, they were thralls to the Chaos God Nurgle.[2b]
Krall would survive the Horus Heresy and later formed the Empyrion's Blight Warband. In late M41, he led the Blight as they invaded the Imperium's Sargassion Reach and joyfully unleashed a Nurgle plague called the Sickening, upon the worlds there[1a]. However strike forces from the Brazen Minotaurs[1a] and Raven Guard[1b], led by Captains Daed[1a] and Aremis Koryn[1b], sought to stop the Warband before it reached the heavily populated Kandoor System[1a]. The battle between them eventually ended, though it is not known what the final outcome was.[3]
