Greaves
A greave is a piece of armour that protects the leg. Often in matched pairs, greaves are most commonly found in the equipment of heavy or elite infantry and the Space Marines armour. Aside from offering protection, greaves may also incorporate additional technology that allow the wearer to move faster[1][2]. For instance, the Blood Ravens' Errant Pattern Greaves are gilded with Aquila Imperialis and include advanced motivators that greatly increase speed and movement.[1]
