Gryphonne IV was a major Adeptus Mechanicus Forge World threatened, and later overcome by, Hive Fleet Leviathan.1-p8 Before its destruction it was the home of the Legio Gryphonicus1-p8. Gryphonne IV was also responsible for designing many of the Imperial Guard's vehicles (see Forgeworld for Gryphonne IV tank variants).
