The Harbingers are a Space Marine Chapter of unstated origin.
|
Background
The Harbringers' homeworld is the feral world Birmingham "the Black Planet", and their Chapter Master is Nimrod Grudge. They specialise in boarding actions and planetary drop assaults.[Needs Citation]
Notable Campaigns and Engagements
- Due to the 13th Black Crusade, the Harbringers withdrew from their battle with the Orks of the Piscian Belt and contributed eight companies to fight against the forces of Chaos.[1]
- In the Gothic sector, the chapter's battle barge, the Unrelenting Fury, intercepted the Ork-controlled space hulk Scylla and delivered a series of punishing salvos against it. The Unrelenting Fury suffered severe engine damage from repeated attack-craft attacks but was otherwise unharmed.[3]
- The Harbingers fought alongside the Dark Angels against the combined forces of Ork warlords Ghazghkull and Nazdreg. The fiercest fighting was at the Dark Angels' basilica.[2]
