Background
The Harbringers are a Space Marine Chapter of unstated origin. Their homeworld is Birmingham "the Black Planet", and their Chapter Master is Nimrod Grudge. They specialise in boarding actions and planetary drop assaults.
Notable campaigns and engagements
Eye of Terror Campaign
The Harbingers fielded eight companies against Chaos forces in the Eye of Terror campaign (13th Black Crusade).1
Scylla incident
An engagement taking place in the Gothic sector, in which the chapter's battle barge, the Unrelenting Fury, intercepted the Ork-controlled space hulk Scylla and delivered a series of punishing salvos against it. The Unrelenting Fury suffered severe engine damage from repeated attack-craft attacks but was otherwise unharmed.4
Last defence of Piscina IV
The Harbingers fought alongside the Dark Angels against the combined forces of Ork warlords Ghazghkull and Nazdreg. The fiercest fighting was at the Dark Angels' basilica.3
