Hjalmar Stormfist
Hjalmar Stormfist was a Wolf Lord of the Space Wolves' 13th Great Company who emerged from the Eye of Terror during the 13th Black Crusade, killed in battle with the forces of the Inquisition.[1]
Biography
Hjalmar Stormfist, like all the first of the 'Wolf Brothers' of Dekk-Tra, was one of Leman Russ's warriors before the coming of the Allfather to Fenris. He was one of the handful to survive the implantation process in spite of his age and the warnings of the Mechanicum, becoming the Great Company's Standard Bearer.[2a] Like the rest of the Wolf Brothers, he disappeared after chasing the Thousand Sons into the warp in the Battle of Prospero.[3]
During the 13th Black Crusade, Stormfist emerged from the Eye of Terror leading a force of the 13th Great Company as their Wolf Lord. They were attacked by a Sisters of Battle strike force led by the Inquisitor Lord Karamazov; who had targeted the 13th Company for wearing pieces of salvaged Chaos Power Armour and for the presence of the Rune Priest Leif Hemligjaga amongst their number. In the battle that followed Stormfist fought well, but met his end when he was torn apart by a Penitent Engine.[1]
