House Wyvorn was a Knight House of the Imperium that later fall to Chaos.[1] It was one of the five Knight Houses of Adrastapol and, like all of the Houses, its Knights took part in the effort to liberate Donatos from a Word Bearers invasion. Disaster struck the Knight Houses of Adrastapol during the battle with the Word Bearers, however, when Wyvorn and House Chimaeros began attacking their fellow Knights, after their Thrones Mechanicums were tainted through Chaos witchery. In the bloody betrayal that followed, High King Tolwyn Tan Draconis was killed and it fell to his son Danial Tan Draconis to rally the remnants of Houses Draconis, Pegasson and Minotos' forces. He succesfully did so and then launched an attack that sought vengeance upon both the traitorous Houses and the Word Bearers.[1]
