Ignatius Numen was a Battle Brother of the Iron Hands Legion, who escaped from Istvaan V with a contingent of Iron Hands aboard the Sisypheum.[1a]
Ignatius was a Morlock Terminator. During Emperors Children assault on the Sisypheum his helmet was melted to his head by a plasma detonation. His flash burnt eyes were replaced by augmetic ones and his burnt face repaired with synth skin. His hearing could not be repaired though. He survived the assault had made Planetfall, and was a key participant in the Battle of the Sepulchre of Isha's Doom. His very deafness gave him a critical advantage over Marius Vairosean of the Emperors Children, the 1st ever Noise Marine, and Ignatius used this advantage to destroy Marius utterly with a Volkite Cannon.[1b]
