Ironstar of Yorg
The Ironstar of Yorg was a battle between the Imperial Fists and Iron Warriors.[1]
Overview
In one of their incursions into the Imperial space, a Iron Warriors warband and their commander - a Warsmith named the Rust King - captured the Ramilles Class Star-fort Divine Rampart and managed to exploit its weapon systems. The star fort was then sent to cut off the supply of Yorg’s Tri-systems and take the system under siege.[1]
The defenders fought bravely, but only with the arrival of the Imperial Fists Strike Force Ultra did the situation change. The strike force, composed of veterans of the war on Malodrax each clad in Terminator Armour, were led by Eyranthos - a Venerable Dreadnought who fought with Captain Lysander during the disaster at Haddrake Tor. Each and every one of the strike force's warriors hated the Iron Warriors deeply, resulting in a fierce fight. Battles unfolded across the decks of the star fort and on the surface of the moons of Yorg. Eventually Eyranthos himself crushed the head of the Rust King and the Imperial Fists emerged victorious.[1]
