A relatively small Hive World, it is terminally polluted from millennia of heavy industry and only the Hive cities remain habitable due to being hermetically sealed from the wastes outside. During the coming of the Crow's Eye, the starving populace became depraved and corrupted, eventually giving itself over to Chaos and becoming no longer recognizable as humans.[1]
During the Crusade of Fire the Imperium decided not to subject the corrupted world to Exterminatus as its valuable infrastructure remained largely intact.[1]
