Iskandar Khayon was a sorcerer-lord and primary lieutenant to Abaddon, during the 7th Black Crusade and aided him in nearly destroying the Blood Angels Chapter on the planet Mackan.[1] He was also one of the founding members of the Ezekarion, the elite brotherhood within the Black Legion.

During the Battle of Prospero, Khayon slew a Space Wolves warrior and took his power axe Saern. He bound a daemon to his will during the battle, trapped in the form of a Fenrisian wolf and named Gyre. Following the casting of the Rubric of Ahriman, Khayon left Sortiarius with a handful of brothers, including Ashur-Kai Qezremah and the Rubric Marines Mekhari and Djedhor, on the warship Tlaloc as the core of the Ka'Sherhan warband. During his exile, Khayon became allies with a trueborn Dark Eldar Scourge named Nefertari, binding her soul to her flesh after the greater daemon Zarakynel killed her but before it could consume her.[2]

Khayon answered Falkus Kibre's call for aid in his search for the lost Vengeful Spirit. He helped Ezekyle Abaddon strike back at the Emperor's Children's Canticle City, destroying it by throwing the Tlaloc at it, and watched Abaddon kill Fabius Bile's clone of Horus with his own Talon. He would later pledge his allegiance to Abaddon's Black Legion.[2]

In the last days of the 41st millennium, Khayon surrendered himself to the Inquisition and told them his tale, confident that nothing he told them could change the Imperium's fate.[2]
