Kunnar was the Champion of the War Hounds 1st Company when the Legion was reunited with their primarch, Angron.^[1]

When Angron was forcibly teleported onto the Conqueror by the Emperor of Mankind, preventing him from aiding his allies' last stand on Nuceria, the primarch was left inconsolable. Legion Master Gheer attempted to meet with Angron, but the primarch killed him. Following Gheer's death, Kunnar volunteered to talk with Angron next, but was, in turn, killed.^[1]
