Ancient Lhorgath was once a commander 14th chapter of the 2nd great company of the Death Guard legion. It was a rank he held until he fell in battle against Fane-Kings of Narbasi. He was claimed to be killed by Vulkan on Isstvan V when he led his Dreadnought Talon in a counter-charge against the Salamanders. His Dreadnought chassis was also one of the first prototypes delivered to the legions armouries which where subjected to numerous repairs and modifications by the legions artificers. These included the incorporation of enhanced multi-spectral visual scanners to better penetrate smoke and fog, and structural reinforcement of the man armour plating.
