Magalodon was originally a splinter of Hive Fleet Kraken, before it grew large enough to be re-classified as a Hive Fleet.[1]
Overview
Hive Fleet Magalodon spreads terror and confusion through Imperial space, by secreting its vanguard organisms aboard cargo vessels and interstellar transports. The vanguard then spread like a cancer through Sector after Sector, birthing fanatical Cults, assassinating Planetary Governors and sowing the seeds of discord and mayhem. By doing so, the Hive Fleet is able to invade worlds that have already been weakened from within.[1]
One of the first Imperial holding to fall to the Hive Fleet, was the crystal mining belt of Hyrdos XII; when a single Lictor, killed all of the miners within an asteroid complex.[1]
