Neskon

Trooper^[2] Neskon was a Guardsman of the Tanith First and Only.^[1a]

Biography

An original Tanith member of the regiment, Neskon was one of the Tanith First's dedicated flame-troopers.^[2][3]

In the closing stages of the Siege of Vervunhive, Neskon was one of thirty Tanith selected personally by Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt to take part in Operation Heironymo, the mission to infiltrate The Spike and assassinate Heritor Asphodel.^[1b] While storming the bridge of the Spike, the Imperials faced Asphodel's elite bodyguard cadre, the Darkwatch, with Neskon losing his left leg to a Darkwatcher armed with a pike-axe.^[1c]

Neskon, however, recovered from his injuries and went on to participate in the regiment's actions on Hagia^[2] and Phantine.^[3]
