The Nova Guard, known formally as the Legio Defensor[2], are a Loyalist Titan Legion.

History
During the Horus Heresym the Nova Guard made a brutal example of traitor-allied cities during the Tarren Suppression.[2] They later took part in the Battle of Beta-Garmon alongside their allies, the Legio Solaria.[3]
