Pavonis

Pavonis is a Tomb World, where it is believed the Nightbringer was held in stasis. This ancient C'tan and its Necron horde were unleashed by Dark Eldar and traitorous humans who were eager to attain immortality and power. Space Marines from the Ultramarines Chapter, 4th Company, failed to prevent the Nightbringer's escape.

Much of Pavonis was made up of trading guilds and cartels. These cartels would gain and lose power as the political tides turned, and smaller cartels developed around the bigger ones. All the political decisions of Pavonis was decided by the governor and the Senate. The Senate made up the cartels, and the governor was the leader of the cartel currently in power.

• Honan
