The Razorback is a tracked, armoured vehicle used by the Space Marine chapters. Its design is based on the Rhino chassis and as such is quite easy to manufacture.
It was originally designed prior to the Emperor, during the first expansion of mankind into the galaxy. It was, like all other information, stored on the ancient STC systems, but lost during the Age of Strife. It was eventually found again in M36 by Chief Artisan Tilius. His quest was to find a fully operation STC system. Because it was found after the Horus Heresy Chaos Space Marines don't use it.
It was designed to be a transport, but with more firepower than the basic Rhino. Many Space Marine commanders swear by its extra firepower, saying that it always makes up for its reduced transport capacity.
It is armed with twin-linked Heavy Bolters, and these can be upgraded to either twin-linked lascannons, a multimelta or a lascannon and twin-linked plasma guns. It can carry up to 6 Space Marines in power armour but may not carry terminators.
