The Reslian 45th is an Astra Militarum Regiment.[1]
Campaign History
The Regiment was among the strike force sent to save Vardan IV from an Ork invasion. However, the Xenos were unstoppable and the Warmaster who led the strike force later gave the order to evacuate the now doomed world. While the majority of the Regiment's surviving Guardsmen escaped, a Valkyrie carrying ten members of its D Company was shot down by the Orks while flying to the evacuation zone.
