The Skulltakers (or Skull Takers2) are a Chaos Space Marine warband. They are devotees of Khorne and known for their obsession of polishing their armour with the powdered bones of their enemies.
Their origin as the Space Marine Chapter "Berserkers of Kharadon" was short lived. During the period of 153.M34 to 184.M39 the Imperium lost any contact and it was somewhere during these five millennia that the Marines turned to Chaos, and rechristened themselves the "Skulltakers".1
It is known that the warband has members of the World Eaters Legion amongst its ranks, some of which still sport their original insignia.3a
