Storyline

Near the Secoris system in the year 996.M40, the entire Blood Angels chapter was reduced to fifty marines after attempting to board a massive space hulk. Six hundred years later, Rogue Trader Borrak Vorra spotted a space hulk drifting near the Blood Angels fortress monastery on Baal. Seeing a chance to regain their honor, Lord Dante immediately dispatched the Blood Angels' First Company, under the command of Captain Michaelus Raphael. With a force of eighty Terminators plus support staff, Captain Raphael quickly located a dormant nest of genestealers, and moved to eradicate them. With a mix of cunning and sheer, brutal force, the Blood Angels manage to first isolate, and then eradicate the entire genestealer population through the use of poison gas.1

Space Hulk allows players to take control of either the Space Marines or Tyranids, and play through a series of twelve missions that reenact the heroic actions of eleven Terminators and one Librarian.1

The DeathWing expansion recounts a crucial period in the history of the Dark Angels' Deathwing chapter as they attempt to save their homeworld. The Genestealer expansion describes the heroic battles against a Genestealer patriarch and his retinue. Neither the Deathwing or Genestealer scenarios are situated in an actual Hulk.
