An Eldar Striking Scorpion

The Striking Scorpions are one of the forms of Eldar Aspect Warrior, focusing on the close combat aspect of battle. They epitomise the silent death, preferring to stealthily approach the enemy. They are physically stronger than other aspects.1 Their weapons and armour allow them to work very well against large numbers of weaker opponents. They are also effective against stronger opponents, but their Eldar fragility works against them here.

Equipment

The Striking Scorpion Aspect Warriors are armed with:

  • A Scorpion Chainsword, which adds to the striking strength of the Aspect.3
  • A Shuriken Pistol.
  • Mandiblasters.
  • Scorpion Armour. They have better armour than most other aspects. The segmented nature of their armour resembles that of their namesake.

Exarch

In addition to the wargear of the Striking Scorpions Aspect, The Exarchs of the Striking Scorpion Shrine can be armed with a number of special weapons:

Phoenix Lord

The Phoenix Lord of the Striking Scorpions is Karandras, the Shadow Hunter. It was not always so. The original founder of the Aspect shrine was Arhra, the Fallen Phoenix who fell to Slaanesh, and it was he who instilled within the aspect their relish of the hunt and murderous nature. When Karandras took upon his predecessors role, he shaped the merciless Striking Scorpions into their more patient but still unquestionably deadly counterparts present today.
