Sy'l'kell is a fertile agri-world bordering the Damocles Gulf and the Lithesh Sector. A fertile Agri World established by the T'au Empire, it nevertheless boasted a defensive orbital station and system ships.[Needs Citation]

Colonised by the T'au Empire at some point, it was cleansed by the Imperial Guard Brimlock Dragoons, Iron Hands Chapter and Scythes of the Emperor Chapter during the First Damocles Crusade.[1]

History

Following the T'au defeat at the Hydass System, advancing Imperial Forces stumbled into Sy'l'kell System, where they discovered the agri-world. Imperial forces launched an assault on the world. The defenders consisted of the remnants of the fleet forces defeated at Hydass, the orbital station, and system ships.[1]

The fleet forces disengaged almost immediately, leaving the station to be bombarded and then purged of life. The Imperial forces used it as headquarters for the ground campaign.[1]

The T'au responded swiftly, ambushing the 17th Brimlock Dragoons, though deployment of Scythes of the Emperor Astartes along with the 4th Storm Trooper Company turned the tide.[1]

Upon the landing of the 9th Brimlock Fusiliers, Tau resistance crumbled and the planet was cleansed.[1]
