Synapse Creatures are creatures in the Tyranid Hive Fleet who have the ability to transmit the Hive Mind's orders to the lesser members of the hive. The Synapse Creatures transmit these orders through the Synapse, a psychic power generated in the synapse node. Known examples of Synapse Creatures are Hive Tyrants, Broodlords, Tyranid Warriors, and some Zoanthrope.
