Should we add to this article that he died in SS which is considered as canon?

What is "SS"? If it is one of these computer games then no, I would not consider that canon. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:57, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
With regards to the events of Soulstorm; he escaped through a webway portal back to Commorragh with the rest of the Dark Eldar force after their defeat. Duffs101 22:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Infact he died when Imperial Guard forces shot his Dais of Destruction down, but we wont care about little things like that....Gesmana 10:09, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Oops, my bad, it’s been a long time since I played it. I’ll grant you the ending cinematic does show the Dias getting destroyed but apart from that it’s pretty ambiguous as to whether or not Vect himself has died.

I’m just assuming of course, but I can’t imagine GW would allow the 'killing off' of one of the main Dark Eldar characters in such an underwhelming fashion. Duffs101 16:54, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

This seems odd that only Tahril is seen as surviving the assault on the Dark Eldar base AND the destruction of Asdrubael Vect's Dais of Destruction, but Vect makes no appearance. However there is some ambiguity as to whether Vect died; either way, I go with Inquisitor S': unless supported with other material, it should not be concidered cannon(think about Ursarkar Creed/Commander Farsight/Craftworld Biel-Tan being killed or destroyed). Question: in the article, it says that all of Dawn of War's characters were invented for the game's campaign "with the exception of Captain Gabriel Angelos." How is Angelos an exception? He certainly didn't exist before Dawn of War came out -- none of the Blood Ravens did. - Servitor 2152 16:17, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I have really been thinking we should remove some parts of this article about stuff that I don't think are canon anymore. Vect sure could be over 10,000 years old, although I don't think that's exactly 100% (especially the "well over 10,000") since he has supposedly been a slave and the current fluff doesn't mention him until after the Fall (M32) and at he was only starting his kabal back then (or cult, since he made the term later). There's nothing in the current lore that indicates him being older than the Fall, and if he is, he was a slave for at least quite a while.

Most certainly he isn't the founder of Commorragh, since that happened way back, before the Fall, in M18. And again, even if he somehow was alive then, he should have been a slave.

Thoughts? Should there be an older section for what his fluff was before?
