Going by the Ultramarines movie, a crozius can extend the power field out as if it were a short ranged weapon, striking down several Chaos Marines with it. I thought the reasoning would be best in here rather than on the page itself:

  • Is it canon? - It was written by Dan Abnett and given the green light by GW's IP dept, so if it were non-canon it would be have removed.
  • Is it the crozius, or the power of faith? - It could be a physical manifestation of faith, or a psyker power (if Carnak were a librarian), but he is specifically asked if the crozius was "ready" for another blast, so it came from the wargear rather than the individual.
  • Is it a one-off effect or a personal piece of wargear? - Unlikely, as the Ultramarines don't even comment, and seem to already know that it was the crozius (see above), which suggests it's an inherent ability of the wargear. --Slavedriver 15:24, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Agreed; essentially, the crozius displayed an ability in a canon source and the description you added is the simplest way to note it. Don't need an actual mention of Karnak though, the cite to the source where it happens is enough. Thanks.--Mob 12:51, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
