Where exactly does the name Mundus Planus come from? I've only ever seen the name Chogoris used in fiction, and personally think that ought to be what we call the planet. -- SFH 04:37, 19 May 2012 (CEST)
- Its from theIndex Astartes article in UK WD257 - "...Khan arrived at a world in segmentum pacificus designated by imperial cartographers as Mundus Planus, but known to is inhabitants as Chogoris". I'd say, as mundus planus is the "official" Imperial name we should stick with that as the page name even though Chogoris is more commonly used in the background fluff. - Well, you can use it as you see fit. They are obviously synonyms. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:19, 19 May 2012 (CEST)
- Not really. I'd say I would normally use the name used in the respective source. Anyway I am pretty sure that in the past "Mundus Planus" was more commonly used, but this would have changed by now. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:07, 20 May 2012 (CEST)
