Does anyone have a verifiable source for the Life Cycle section? Sounds like fan fluff to me. Duffs101 23:28, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

I've removed this info - "Termagants have a lifespan of 2–4 years. The females of the species are slightly larger than the males, and have toxin sacs. The males are smaller, and have a slightly shorter tail. They have a long, muscular tube which fires the fleshborer beetles into their prey. Termagants are herbivores, and can eat any organic plant material.[Needs Citation]".

I could be wrong but I dont remember ever reading about different genders of termagant - thought they were produced by Norn Queens + Tervigons. Also the bit about having a long muscular tube that fires the beetles seems a bit off - its the fleshborer symbiote weapon that fires the beetles. If anyone can source this info feel free to add it back in, thanks Thelemur 17:20, 21 June 2011 (CEST)

No source = removal. I don't recall reading it in the V5 Tyranid Codex; plus, as you said, conventional fluff seems to indicate that they are spawned by the Norn Queens, making it seemingly unlikely for such creatures to have gender. Commisar Gegnillum 17:33, 21 June 2011 (CEST)
