Tank Destroyer

Tank Destroyers are tanks developed specifically to destroy other tanks.

Construction

In the majority of cases, Tank Destroyers are based on a similar chassis to their more general purpose counterparts^[1a], however, the dedicated tank hunter types are generally fitted with specialised weaponry^[1b], or simply an extremely powerful gun.^[1b][2]
