The First Heretic by Aaron Dembski-Bowden is the fourteenth novel in the Horus Heresy Series.1 A number of authors contribute to the series, but the storyline follows the same characters through Horus' descent into Chaos.
The First Heretic spans many decades, charting the heresy of the Word Bearers legion leading to their participation in the Isstvan V dropsite massacre.
The novel was published in November 2010.1
