You have to read this

Hy there, it has been a while. My vacations are over and I returned to my edits at the Fantasy Lex. I found this site by pure chance and IMHO you have to read it [1].

The description about you is accurate and funny: The Grand High Marshall of Punishment himself, Inquisitor S., is the most notorious admin on the english Lexicanum. He is equally reviled and feared for his zealous crusade against any users who dare to break the law. Years of bitter warfare with marauding bands of spammers, trolls, and those who are too stupid to actually read the guidelines, have turned his heart into stone. His patience is short and he shoots first and does not ask questions later.

Remember brother Inquisitor: To be just, our law must be cruel. Aehren 04:04, 13 January 2012 (CET)

I am aware of that. And I did not write it myself ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:50, 13 January 2012 (CET)
I did. The text before that did not match reality by far. --DetlefK 12:07, 13 January 2012 (CET)
Anyone looked at where the trolling link at the bottom of the page directs to? Hint: Its a good one!--Ytokes 22:40, 13 January 2012 (CET)

Bolt Pistol

The source says the Bolt Pistol was smaller, so I figured that meant smaller bolts as well. As for weaker rounds I looked at the stats for the weapon given such as its range, which indicates lower velocity. If that's not acceptable then you can just delete that part.--Harriticus

I did. Please, please, please! Never derive information from rules or stats. And please do not speculate. Just really stick to the information given. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:17, 13 January 2012 (CET)
Just as an addendum: for example in second edition strength of bolt pistols and boltguns was identical, the difference being the range. And that's why we don't like stats ;) I am not sure if both actually use the same ammunition, but as long as there is no source for either, we'll leave that open.--Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:21, 13 January 2012 (CET)

Aurum page move required

Could you please move the page Aurum to Aurum (Sword) or (Weapon). The articles Diablodon, Sky Reaver, Theratryx and Argrax point to a planetary version of Aurum.--Ytokes 06:27, 19 January 2012 (CET)

Done. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:55, 19 January 2012 (CET)

Portal box layout

I really want to make the English Template:Portalsnav look like the French one [2] but it doesnt seem to work when i just swap the info. Any ideas/advice? Thelemur 06:48, 28 January 2012 (CET)

I don't want to be annoying but i would like if you comented on what i do this information(it's a significant portion of my to-do list.)--Ashendant 18:05, 7 February 2012 (CET)
Add them to the relevant articles. If you observe the well-established sourcing guidelines I do not see the problem. If I forgot to unprotect certain articles, tell me which ones. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:48, 8 February 2012 (CET)

working on it

Im working on adding sources, when im done ill let you know, thnx. Also, in the Horus Heresy section, EVERY paragraph has a source at the end, and every sentence has a source to it leading to the {Deliverance Lost Novel), however chapter numbers will be hard to come by, so please bare with me and let me finish sourcing, thank you :)

If there is no chapter number it is almost impossible to verify statements. So please add them ASAP. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 14:11, 8 February 2012 (CET)

I will work on adding chapter numbers as soon as i find them in the book (i own every Horus Heresy series book that isnt special issue), and then i will add them. Im happy Lexicanum has a valiant defender such as you sir, however i will require time (as stated above) to add the chapter numbers, so please do not delete what ive spent hours putting up straight away as i may be directly still in the process of putting up the chapter numbers / sources. Thanks for you time :) - Torhunt

Then you should mark the respective paragraphs. Actually it would be better to "store" them on the article's discussion page since we normally can not allow unsourced or incompletely sourced new additions. People promised in the past to add the sources later and then they forgot it. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:43, 8 February 2012 (CET)

I have placed the paragraphs in which the respective information can be found (and placed a page number for directly finding the mention of the gene virus), they can be found next to where the source is listed (i am currently reading through my copy of Deliverance Lost as we speak to make sure i have the correct chapters listed. - Torhunt

Current maintenance

Hello sir! I've noticed that you haven't been on here as much as often, hope everything is ok. I only mention it because there are several problems that have been raised that only sys-ops can deal with, and no sys-ops seem to have been about much since Xmas -

  • Several pages have been marked for deletion for being redundant, fan-art or games mechanics related - they are begining to pile up since no-one else can remove them
  • Discussion for changes to the main page have been going on in the forum, but no changes can be made to the page without sys-ops

I understand if you and the other sys-ops have real-life things to deal with and can't be on the Lexi as much, but the site still needs to be maintained - perhaps it may be time to promote another user to sys-op status if the current ones are too busy to do day-to-day maintenance. Thelemur 04:12, 13 February 2012 (CET)

Yes, I am sorry, really busy with lots of stuff that does not leave a lot of time. Deleted most of the marked articles where reason for deletion was obvious. As to the main page I really don't have the time right now to take care of this. If it is okay by general consent just tell me what to copy paste. 2 pages have been unprotected. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 16:32, 13 February 2012 (CET)
That's brilliant, thanks boss. I suppose I can forgive you for actually having a life outside the Lexi :p. It just doest feel right without your watchful eyes making sure we are doing things right. I've posted about the main page on the forum again to confirm everyone is happy with the version I've put on the Immaterium, when I get some feedback I'll make the final version that you can copy and past. Thanks again. Thelemur 20:04, 14 February 2012 (CET)
Rest assured that even if I do not seem to pay attention to the day-to-day small problems my flamer is always at the ready. It#s just that in periods of limited time I concentrate on urgent matters such as vandalism or people who try to damage Lexicanum's reputation (-> as you noticed on FB/ Wikipedia). --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:37, 15 February 2012 (CET)
I'm glad to hear it :). Im currently working on adding portal boxes and links to all the planet pages, whilst doing so I found this - http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Category:Cave_Worlds#.Tz3T3LQqmSo which I think needs deleted, it is a category with no entries or links to that page. Is it ok if I add other similar pages that may need deleted to your talk page, or should I just put a delete tag on them and not mention it? Thelemur 05:19, 17 February 2012 (CET)
The easiest way for me to deal with them is indeed if you list them here. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 22:34, 18 February 2012 (CET)

Request for review

Hi, I am relatively new to Lex40K and wiki writing in general. I am asking that you review the discussion on the Talk:Sokhem Vithara page and provide direction if you believe it necessary. I would like to contribute, but I am concerned that my citations are going to cause unnecessary work for other authors. --Sanguinarius 20:32, 23 February 2012 (CET)

Thank you. --Sanguinarius 00:24, 24 February 2012 (CET)

Question about Lists

Hi, a quick question about armoury lists. As you probably noticed myself and a few other users recently updated the various factions armoury lists (eg Dark Eldar Weaponry (List) ). Sources were not added to all of the lists as each entry on the lists linked to a page that would have the full range of sources there. Is this acceptable for this form of list, or should I also add all the individual citations to the list article aswell? Personally I feel this would be rather redundant as the sources are all in the main articles, but I'll add them all if you prefer it that way. Thanks. The Lemur 03:18, 2 March 2012 (CET)

Good question. In the past we had the guideline to also include sources in lists. But I see that this is of limited practical value. So I would say that if the article linked to is correctly sourced, this should be sufficient. However if an article does not exist yet I must insist on including sources in the list. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:41, 2 March 2012 (CET)

"Official" Pictures query

Re our conversation @ Talk:Plague zombie, does the GW website count as an official source? A while ago I added LamentersMarineGW.jpg to the lamenters page, as the example mini there is about 20 years old. It was reverted despite the mini being painted by a GW employee and posted on the GW website (and therefore covered by GW copyright). I appreciate that sometimes the GW website will post fan miniatures that would be unsuitable for the Lexi, but in this specific example it is a model which acurately depicts the current colour scheme and is painted by a GW employee - surely this is a suitable image? The Lemur 07:03, 9 March 2012 (CET)

I'll allow it. Anyway I can't remember reverting or for what reason, where is that log? Put the older picture in the gallery section then. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:09, 9 March 2012 (CET)
Yay! It wasnt you that deleted it btw, it was Genestealer I think. Thanks The Lemur 16:46, 9 March 2012 (CET)
I am pretty sure there was a misunderstanding somewhere then. Genestealer is a very experienced Operative. Maybe the source was lacking or whatever. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 16:47, 9 March 2012 (CET)

Exotic weapons

Hum i have some weapons and i don't know where to put them because none in this template fit this definition (Exotic Weapons)--Ashendant 01:42, 14 March 2012 (CET)

Ranged Close Combat

Sorry

I realised half way through that I was kinda doing the same thing again :/ only one template this time, but all those damned edits (preview wouldn't always work as it needed to be saved to test it with data): sorry! --IXS=][= 01:05, 17 March 2012 (CET)

My fault, I asked for the help. It's a good template though, make a big difference to a bunch of pages.--Mob 02:18, 17 March 2012 (CET)

Moving Pages

Hi, I noticed that you move the odd article when needs be... I was wondering if there was a specific template or category for suggested moves, as I've seen an Images to move template and a MergeTo template, but not a move one... The two pages that I've noticed are now in Category:Articles to be merged (I used Template:Mergeto temporarily). Cheers! --IXS=][= 17:26, 20 March 2012 (CET)

There should be a template (to be created if you want to). But realistically it's better to leave me a list on my talk page. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 20:32, 20 March 2012 (CET)
Alright, that works: thanks! --IXS=][= 23:03, 20 March 2012 (CET)

User:Dusktiger

Have you asked him why he keeps deleting his discussion-page? Maybe he's trying to hide a track-record of problems (to get more lenience next time), but maybe he just wants to clean up what he considers resolved. --DetlefK 17:03, 23 March 2012 (CET)

He just kept on deleting. And no, the issues were not resolved. Despite multiple requests the images remain without categories. Once the categories have been added and I see he knows what to do, I will unblock his talk page. Like this, it serves as a reminder. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 17:34, 23 March 2012 (CET)

Horus Heresy Novels Numbering Conundrum

I wanted to bring to your attention that we're either A: missing one book in the main novels of the series, or B: our Horus Heresy Novels are numbered incorrectly. We don't have a tenth novel. We have Mechanicum listed as the 9th and Fallen Angels listed as the 11th, with no 10th... Tanooki1432 21:00, 27 March 2012 (CEST)

The tenth book is Tales of Heresy which is an anthology rather than a novel, so is listed in a different section on the Horus Heresy Series page. I suppose to be technically correct the other pages such as Mechanicum should say "9th book" rather than "9th novel". The Lemur 21:09, 27 March 2012 (CEST)
I actually also noticed that something is off with the numbering when I sorted my books in the supposedly right order... --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 15:31, 28 March 2012 (CEST)

Problem with user

I hereby suggest the deletion of the user-account of User:Lord of the Night/User talk:Lord of the Night: repeated failure to adhere to Lexicanum-guidelines, the latest example being his edit to the Iron Hands-page. --DetlefK 17:34, 14 May 2012 (CEST)

To be fair if the warnings were spaced out since 2010, he will have one last chance. If he fails to comply with this one, he will be blocked. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:04, 15 May 2012 (CEST)
My bad. I was just looking at the amount of warnings as a whole. --DetlefK 11:12, 15 May 2012 (CEST)
Happens to me, too. Nevertheless it's important to keep an eye on these people if they "collect" warnings. Just it would be a bit hard to insist on the "3 strikes" if it sprad out over a couple of years. But of course we won't be too lenient either. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:32, 15 May 2012 (CEST)

On the Flesh Tearers

Hey, just wanted to respond to what you said. Index Astartes I has a section in it, "Bloody Frenzy- The Flesh Tearers Space Marine Chapter" In that article, the Flesh Tearers history lists them as a Crusading Chapter for millenia before their Chapter Master, Amit, settles them on the world Cretacia to replace war losses. Also in the Blood Angels books, specifically Red Fury, Mephiston and Rafen refer to the Flesh Tearers as the "Sons of Amit". And I will grant I made an assumption with Butcher's Nails. Having a Blood Angels captain, prior to the Second Founding, named Amit "Flesh Tearer" just seemed to make sense to me...

Put everything down with the precise footnotes. And please strongly refrain from any speculation. Thanks :) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:19, 25 July 2012 (CEST)

I was under the impression all of those notes were ALREADY in the footnotes. The Flesh Tearer's page already has all of those notes, and their "Chapter History" section already lists them as a crusading chapter for thousands of years. That's why I was confused; it was already in the article. But to be fair, i did not cite my sources so okay. I'll do better. Thanks for understanding.

Generally ou can apply the rule that every paragraph (or every sentence if there is more than one source per paragraph) needs a proper source. This source has to be precise (pagenumber or in the case of novels chapternumber). --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:54, 26 July 2012 (CEST)

Bringing articles over from German Lexicanum

I was curious if I could translate and bring over this article from German lexicanum. It seems to be cited and in good order, and I'm not sure about policy regarding this.--Harriticus 18:18, 26 July 2012 (CEST)

I am sorry, but it's absolutely forbidden to "bring over articles" from other Lexicanum pages. It would only be possible after re-checking the sources yourself or have somebody reliable check them. Only way to avoid cascading errors. It's basically the same policy that says that we are not allowed to make articles out of other existing articles in the same language without checking the sources first. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:50, 26 July 2012 (CEST)
It's fine, that's why I checked!--Harriticus 19:10, 26 July 2012 (CEST)
Yes. Sometimes these fail-safe mechanisms are annoying, but in the end it will improve the reputation and quality of the project. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 19:34, 26 July 2012 (CEST)

Could I have my old name back?

Since I've learned my lesson about citations, could you unblock my old account (crouchbk)? I miss using that name.--Proteus77 19:31, 6 August 2012 (CEST)

Are you willing to have this name blocked instead? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:05, 7 August 2012 (CEST)
So? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 14:03, 8 August 2012 (CEST)
On reconsideration, given the volume of work I've done under this name, I'll withdraw my request and keep things the way they are. Thanks for entertaining my strange request.--Proteus77 17:29, 8 August 2012 (CEST)
You are welcome. How about keeping "Proteus77" as account name and just changing your signature name under preferences to "crouchbk" or whatever hybrid you'd like? In that case: Preferences -> User Profile -> Signature -> New signature. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 18:16, 8 August 2012 (CEST)

Could you look up an old source for me?

Hey, Ive been working on the Silver Skulls article and would like to know if in the 3rd Edition Standard Rulebook if theres any mention of the Silver Skulls definitely being descended from the Ultramarines. The current article source claims they are Second Founding, when other sources say that it is "claimed" or "believed" they are Ultramarines geneseed. Also if you know of any Siver Skull sources i Havnt included or any other mentions in the 3rd Ed book let me know. Cheers!-Ytokes 12:54, 7 August 2012 (CEST)

Sure can, if it's not mega-urgent. Can you pinpoint it a bit more in the 3rd ed RB? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:05, 7 August 2012 (CEST)
Don't know if this of any use to you, but Codex Ultramarines p.43 states "The Silver Skulls claim lineage from the Ultramarines. The exact date of their founding is unknown...". No idea if more recent sources have retconned this. The Lemur 22:18, 7 August 2012 (CEST)
I flicked through the 3rd ed BRB, but there was nothing there in the Space Marine section. So I wouldn't know where to start looking otherwise. The German Lex doesn't mention the book as a source. And the 3rd ed. SM Codex has Silver Skulls in it, but as far as I see only as painting examples. German Lex and some sources I have seen don't list them as second founding, that's for sure. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:31, 7 August 2012 (CEST)
@Thelemur, I have already seen that and included it in the article.
@Inq.S., The 3Ed SMCodex has only a small part under the Corinthian Crusade on Page 36. And yes, otherwise it is painting pictures. Im going to go ahead and remove the 3rd Edition Standard Rulebook from sources as no one can find any reference to Silver Skulls in it.-Ytokes 05:02, 8 August 2012 (CEST)
I am not saying that we didn't overlook sth. But the 3rd ed rulebook was rather poor in this kind of stuff. So I'd go ahead and remove it, yes. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 14:02, 8 August 2012 (CEST)

Redirects

Is it possible to make a re-direct to an external site? The Lemur 18:20, 12 August 2012 (CEST)

For what purpose? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 22:00, 12 August 2012 (CEST)
To be honest - I've decided it was a daft idea anyway - I'd been going to link the non-article "Skald" to the wikipedia page as all any article on here is going to be is a description of what the word means. But that would probably cause more problems than it would solve. The Lemur 22:14, 12 August 2012 (CEST)
Yep. Probably ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 09:32, 13 August 2012 (CEST)

Fixed, thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 12:06, 24 March 2013 (CET)

Steel Confessors Survival

Sorry about the very late answer... You came to me, more than a year ago, about my edit mentionning the Steel Confessors survival, in a crippled state, based upon Ytokes' comment. Please, see my answer to that comment on the Talk page. I don't know enough of the Lexicanum's policy regarding such cases, so I'll just leave it there. --Nash 16:29, 14 April 2013 (CEST)

Renaming Urrlak Urruk to Urlakk Urg

I would like to rename Urrlak Urruk to "Urlakk Urg" because that is the name that appears in the cited sources. How can I get this done? DarkSoldier 02:16, 15 June 2013 (CEST)

You can not "rename" an article. The way to go is to "move" the article to it's new name and leave a redirect in the place of the old article pointing towards the new name (or to delete the old article if it's complete BS. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:18, 15 June 2013 (CEST)
P.S.: are you sure about that? Without now going to dig for the sources only one google search result for "urg", but many more for "urruk"... --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:20, 15 June 2013 (CEST)

The Black Legion's Index Astartes article and Fear to Tread both call him Urlakk Urg. Those are the only primary sources to which I have access that explicitly name the warlord of Ullanor. My Google search for "Urrlak Urruk" only pulls up secondary sources as well as a discussion on another board about just this topic. DarkSoldier 10:49, 15 June 2013 (CEST)

Just as I was checking the sources given in the old article you had already moved it ;) In any case didn't find mention in Horus Rising, and you already corrected the page number for the rulebook from 169 to 168 ;) --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:07, 15 June 2013 (CEST)

Sorry, a stupid typo led me to create 'File:Genator.JPG' not 'File:Genetor.JPG'. I don't seem able to rename, can you do so for me?Phunting 22:25, 7 August 2013 (CEST)

Source of Blood Reavers and Night Watch images on lexicanum.de?

Hi. I wasn't really sure where to ask this because I can't register on the forum and I don't speak german so there's little point registering on the lexicanum.de. I just wanted to ask where the images on the german lexicanum for the Blood Reavers and Night Watch space marine chapters are from. The Blood Reavers images are not from the White Dwarf because they were only mentioned briefly in an Index Astartes article.

You can also ask questions in English on the German Lexicanum, most people will understand you. As for your question: I don't know. The user who uploaded is was last active in 2011. As there is no sources cited for the pictures the pictures would have to be deleted. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 10:37, 13 September 2013 (CEST)

Warning

[3] Do not erase people's comments like this again. Furthermore, the book clearly lists the name. Many of your edits are fine, but a lot have caused damage to the encyclopedia over the last year. If this continues, I will talk to Larry about having your permissions removed because this is not healthy. Midnight Sun (talk) 09:59, 16 January 2018 (MST)

What the hell are you talking about. 1.) You should better watch the tone you take with people. Especially being so hostile when 2.) openly lying about like "Many of your edits are fine, but a lot have caused damage to the encyclopedia over the last year." since I haven't even done ANY content edits between 2015 and 2017 outside setting up people's user accounts. To be precise my last non-user account edit was on 13:09, 14 November 2014. I actually only turned up yesterday becauyse I received an e-mail stating somebody had tried to hack my sysop account by trying to reset my password. And once logged in I noticed there was a big backlog of unconfirmed account requests that I kindly reviewed as clearly the BoLS people had not gotten around to it and people might have been waiting for a response. 3.) I don't know what happened or if this is a software glitch or whatever but your comment was simply not there when I wrote mine and there certainly was no warning that a double edit had taken place. So 4.) if you want to talk to Larry about something, go ahead. I will certainly have to respond something about the way you without any obvious hierarchical position try to intimidate and bully people, not mentioning accusing them of never-happened events like causing damage or vandalism. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:18, 16 January 2018 (MST)
I will actually include a section on your downright hostile treatment of new users such as Haravikk as well, accusing him of "not being honest" and being condescending such as "You have not responded to any of the actual points being made. This is troubling coming from a new account like yours." You as a normal user have no seniority rights over other users, be they new or old. Whatsoever, period. And just to add: the "newbie" has specified the sources for his arguments way better than you. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:28, 16 January 2018 (MST)
That response proves that you have no legitimate purpose on this encyclopedia. You approved multiple accounts of people with illegitimate user names, of illegitimate user profiles, and other abuses. Your defense of Haravikk's inappropriate action is not a defense of a "newbie" but of a pattern of trying to ensure disruption. You were caught making up stuff about a source and tried to defend the brand new account that happened to agree with you. Larry should IP check the account. I'm sure it would be worth finding out what the relationship is. Midnight Sun (talk) 14:16, 16 January 2018 (MST)
I left a message on Larry's page. Your response was highly inappropriate and I will ask him to ban you. Midnight Sun (talk) 14:09, 16 January 2018 (MST)
Larry knows how Wikis work. It would be impossible for you to have deleted my comment unknowingly. There are warnings if you were editing a different version of the page. You deleted a comment on purpose. Your other contributions from the last year have been adding user pages that don't belong on this Wiki and approve names of users that are inappropriate. These are serious abuses of privilege and were done on purpose. Midnight Sun (talk) 14:12, 16 January 2018 (MST)
That's it. Bye. Larry has been provided with the necessary details. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 14:29, 16 January 2018 (MST)
You can also read his harassment on my account nearly two years ago - [4]. Though I just demanded a strict adhering the rules of Lexicanum.--Darkelf77 (talk) 14:56, 16 January 2018 (MST)
It is a sad thing to say, but I am not surprised. Clearly a history of bullying there. And I would like to point out that Midnight Sun, no matter what he presumes to be, is nothing but a normal user with no special rights, or dispensation to treat other users so poorly. I can only apologize for the time being that he was allowed to act like this. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 15:22, 16 January 2018 (MST)
If you give me your e-mail (you can send me it on my e-mail that you have as a Moderator), I could inform you if he re-appeared here under new user-name. Because I think that he couldn't change his style of communication and betray himself.--Darkelf77 (talk) 10:20, 7 March 2018 (MST)
I do get e-mail notifications when somebody edits my user talk page, so just do that. This is more secure because "personal" e-mails tend to disappear into spam nirvana too often. And yes, I would definitely appreciate being notified if you think MS is back. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 14:32, 13 March 2018 (MDT)
Affirmative.--Darkelf77 (talk) 14:56, 13 March 2018 (MDT)

Discord Account

Due to BigRed's suggestion I created an Discord Server for the Lexicanum. Do you have a Discord account so I can add you and see if I can make you a moderator?--Ashendant (talk) 15:16, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
I am not familiar (yet?) with Discord. What is the purpose/ aim/ advantage of using discord in our context? --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:23, 27 March 2018 (MDT)
Done. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:34, 27 March 2018 (MDT)
It's a chat for gamers that has been trending for a while and it seems it will continue to do so. The Warhammer Reddits seem to all have them. Specifically to us, it allow us to have quicker discussions on edits, as well as help anybody that is yet learning or just trying to login for the first time and unable to do so. The last thing is something we have troubles with as the password with the email go into the spam folder for Gmail or are automatically deleted for Outlook. Don't know if the 40k and Immoren side of things have the same problems or not, but it has been a significant hitch on bringing in new editors.--Ashendant (talk) 15:32, 27 March 2018 (MDT)
We will see how it works out. But (not being a technical specialist!) I doubt it would solve problems with e-mails getting lost in spam nirvana. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:13, 28 March 2018 (MDT)
Hey, I've meet a discord user that has troubles making an account of the 40k Lexi. His username is Zebtrius, if you could login to talk to him or accept his account it would be very appreciated.--Ashendant (talk) 06:08, 7 July 2018 (MDT)

Mess up

hey Inquisitor S. So i have been making pages for the characters of the horus heresy and i had noticed i mixed up the images for Ven'tal and Nar'van. the file names are fliped floped for the pictures and messed up as they both look the same and i noticed i messed them up. i was wondering since they are all messed up now if we could just delete the images on both the pages i made from the wiki and ill just re uploaded them but correct this time. sorry for my mess up thought thanks Axelhanson

1.) I will delete the two pictures if you provide me with the links. You can then reupload them with the correct names.
2.) I noticed you do not provide pagenumbers in the sources for the images - you should add them, as precise sources are compulsory. The reason is to be able to check them quickly.
3.) You should sign your (user) talk page contributions with either the "signature" button or by typing --~~~~.

NOOOO! I've already done this pictures! I mean their names, not source pages, of course. Because Axelhanson sent me the same request as to you...---Darkelf77 (talk) 13:04, 6 October 2018 (MDT)
