Vastakel Khyre
Vastakel Khyre is a high-ranking member of the Black Legion and he was among its forces that took part in the Gothic War.[1]
History
During that conflict, Abaddon the Despoiler ordered an attack on the Imperial Hive World Corilia and Khyre commanded 50 Chaos Terminators in the attack. When the Black Legion arrived there, Khyre and the Terminators teleported directly into Corilia's capital, Patricius Hive, which was the seat of its Imperial Commander. As they did so, other Black Legion forces descended in drop pods to surround the Hive and prevented Corilia's defensive forces from entering it. It would be 3 days before the Imperial forces broke through, at the cost of thousands of their lives. However when they finally entered Patricius Hive, they found it had been turned into a charnel house. Thousands of the Hive's population had been slaughtered by Khyre and his Terminators and many more were missing entirely. The Hive's Imperial Commander was among the missing as well and their ultimate fate was never discovered by the Imperium.[1]
