Vigil
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
This article is about the planet; for the Short Story by James Swallow, see Vigil (Short Story). |
Vigil is a Dead World in the Calixis Sector. The local xenos population was destroyed 5,000 years ago but the planet is still covered in extensive ruins.[1] Closer to current affairs, the Storm Wardens fought the Xeno Slaugth here during The Cleansing of Vigil. Though the Storm Wardens took heavy casualties, the Slaugth were eliminated from Vigil.[2] Because the local xenos population was destroyed during M36 it can be presumed the Slaugth were not native to the planet.
