Volghast is a mist covered world, that was the site of a battle between the White Scars Chapter and the Tau of the Vior'la Sept in M41.[1]

The battle finally ended, after the Librarian Kaljuk used his powers of prescient vision, to allow the White Scars to spring an ambush on the unsuspecting Tau. The aftermath of the deadly attack saw the Tau's transports crippled, which allowed the White Scars to completely massacre the stranded Xenos.[1]
