Gameplay

Players play as Space Marines attempting to halt a Ork invasion spaceship, facing orks and later, tyranids; four Space Marine classes are playable¹ -

• Sternguard Veteran
• Vanguard Veteran

• White Scars
• Ultramarines
• Imperial Fists
• Blood Angels
• Salamanders

Reception

The game received average and favourable reviews on both platforms, being described as generally enjoyable or fun, but let down by a short campaign, lack of online multiplayer, and a limited appeal to non Warhammer:40,000 fans.²

Bonus Content

The game included a bonus weapon for the use in multiplayer mode in the full price game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, obtained by completing the first level.¹
