Overview
Known to operate on toxic worlds, these warriors can withstand plagues and poisons. This ability has led them to be frequently used by the Ordo Malleus to fight minions of the Chaos God Nurgle. This has drawn the attention of Nurgle himself, who often sends his Daemons to investigate the Scions in all sorts of horrifying manner. As such, the Deltic Lions have a long history of battling Nurgle's forces across the galaxy.[1]
Notable Actions
- Destroying a Nurgle Cult on the Hive World of Mularion.[1]
- Fighting alongside the Aurora Chapter to contain a Daemonic incursion on the ringworld of Avatroid.[1]
- Defeating The Purge when they attempted to destroy their Schola Progenium facility in the Scarus Sector. The victory was achieved by using decoy units to lure the Chaos Marines into a nearby ice ravine, bogging them down and then surrounding them. This is often regarded as their greatest victory.[1]
