Abraxes is a Daemon Prince who is also known as the Architect of Fate and as the Engineer of Time[1a] who resided within the Silver City amongst the court of the Lord of Change, Tzeentch, of the Gods of Chaos.[1b]

History

At some unknown point, this Daemon took the notice of the Librarian Sarpedon of the Soul Drinkers Chapter and began a complicated plan in order to turn him to Chaos. Father Yser is known to had worshipped the entity and seen it within his dreams where it had shown him glory.[1b] Several of the inhabitants of the Forge World Koden Tertius[1f] believed in the Engineer of Time such as Sasia Koraloth and El'Hirn who received dreams from it who they believed was an aspect of the Omnissiah that guided them in their study of the Soulspear that they intended to offer as a sacrifice in exchange for the truth.[1e] In the mean time, Father Yser became a beacon which spread to the Soul Drinkers though none were aware of its true nature and unwittingly turned them against the Imperium of Man when they became declared Excommunicate Traitoris. After encountering Abraxes, the Daemon flayed the mind of Yser thus killing the devoted worshipper.[1b] After the revelation, Abraxes attempted to turn Sarpedon and his Battle-Brothers into his servants and asked that they march as his soldiers .[1c] However, Sarpedon would reject the Daemon and plunge the sacred weapon known as the Soulspear into it thus killing the creature.[1d]

Abraxes is also known to have taken part in the Siege of Terra.[2]
