Anthologies
Over its history, Games Workshop and subsequently, Black Library, have released collections of short stories, organised into anthologies. These short stories are penned by favourites such as Dan Abnett, Graham McNeill etc as well as fresh faces just dabbling in the Warhammer 40k setting. On occasion those short stories contained are tie-ins to existing series such as an Ultramarines tie-in Legends of the Space Marines and an Inquisition War tie-in in Deathwing. These tie-in short stories are then often bundled into the relevant omnibuses if and when they are produced.
