The Archite Palatines were an Imperial Army regiment attached to the 28th Expedition Fleet under the overall command of the Primarch Fulgrim. The regiment rebelled along with the Emperor's Children in the Isstvan system. They were commanded by Lord Commander Thaddeus Fayle.
Appearance & Uniform
A red tunic and silver breastplate.
Some members of the Imperial Army amongst the 28th Expedition Fleet were described as "senior officers bearing feathered helmets, cavalry lancers in golden breastplates, and discipline masters in red greatcoats." It is unconfirmed, however, if these soldiers were Archite Palatines.
Weapons & Equipment
Infantry, tanks and artillery. There were also Imperial Army anti-aircraft guns in operation on Laeran, but again it is unconfirmed if these belonged to the Archite Palatines.

- Cleansing of Laeran with the Emperor's Children against the Laer.
- Isstvan V with the Emperor's Children against the Iron Hands, Raven Guard and Salamanders.
Notable Regiment Members
- Lord Commander Thaddeus Fayle - Commanding Officer of the Palatines. He is described as "a stern man with a horribly scarred face, augmented with a steel plate that obscured the left side of his head... a skilled general, a blunt speaker and a ruthless, unforgiving soldier."
