Augura was a staging post for a Tau expansion into Imperial space in the Zeist Sector, the Imperial retaliation being known as the Zeist Campaign. It was assaulted by forces from over a dozen Space Marine chapters, although this left its fortresses, shipyards and weapons factories devastated.
