The Battle of Rasilena was fought in 777.M34 between the Eldar and Imperium.[1]
Launched by Biel-tan to reclaim the Maiden World of Rasilena from encroaching Humans, Biel-tan's ally Iyanden judged the battle a distraction from the fight against Chaos and refused to come to their comrades' aid. This refusal held, even when two whole Imperial Battlefleets and ten Space Marine Chapters were launched at Biel-tan's forces. Nonetheless, Biel-tan emerged bloodied but victorious, though the battle did much to break the bond between them and Iyanden.[1]
