Chaos Space Marine Army List

The total of Chaos Space Marines number in the thousands, if not millions. The original, pre-Codex Astartes arrangement saw the Space Marines arranged in legions, ten thousand warriors in each. After the Horus Heresy, this number was cut drastically to the current one thousand Marines in a Chapter. As such there are many thousand more Chaos Space Marines in a Chaos Legion than there are now Space Marines in a Chapter. Due to their history, their forces are arranged in a way similar to those of the Space Marines, although they also make use of daemonic entities which, although fairly weak individually, tend to have an overwhelming effect on their enemies.

Chaos Lord

Chaos Sorcerer

Chaos Marine psykers refer to themselves as Chaos Sorcerers.
Daemon Prince

A Daemon Prince is one of the most powerful Chaos units. They were mortals who have dedicated themselves to Chaos as Chaos Champions, and committed great and terrible deeds in the name of their god. They have achieved the ultimate reward of Daemonhood, granted immortality and unearthly power.
Summoned Greater Daemon
Greater Daemons are the most powerful Daemons before the Chaos gods (Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Nurgle) themselves. They require blood sacrifices to summon, but once they enter the battle, they are capable of devastating their enemies.
There are four Greater Daemons, each linked to one of the four major Chaos gods:
